Dressing up a Victorian lady ( 1868-72)

This video from The Fashion Gallery at the Victoria & Albert Museum, shows ladies undergarments circa 1830s with chemise, drawers, corset, sleeve support, dress sleeve and petitcoat with shoulder straps. It also shows two day dresses from this period, one worn with pelerine, a lace cape. All the items are British made. The Victorian years between 1830-1840 were years of great change.
