This is a new series where I share about different parenting skills that can help if you’re caring for a kid who’s experience trauma. The first skill is predictability. Predictability can enhance feelings of trust, safety, and comfort. When their world is spinning and unpredictable, kids can rely on you and your home to be their safe place.
