Cheyenne Ledger Artists of Fort Marion is our new exhibition, which opens to the public on Sept. 13. It tells the stunning story of a group of Cheyenne prisoners who used art to tell the story of their people and their imprisonment in 1874. For nearly 100 years, this narrative was told and retold by historians and government agents. However, the Cheyenne have their own story to tell. We share it with you here at The Cowboy.
