You sure can plant zinnia seeds in pots but don’t forget to …look for the smaller/dwarf variety of seeds!Last year I specifically used the Thumbelina zinnia elegans from @botanical_interests and Zinnia Envy container variety from Ferry~Morse which I found @walmart ! You can find their height on the back of the seed packets or referenced on the front as container variety.
