Winter wheat update! 🙌 This is my first time growing wheat and I am over the moon with the results so far! It’s a soft white winter wheat called ‘Ovation’ that I planted out on October 17th. It was pretty warm still when I planted, so I kept it damp until I saw germination, then just let nature do its thing over the winter, only starting to water again when it warmed up late this spring. We’ll harvest probably sometime in July I’m guessing. It’s been a hands-off crop so far. It reminds me of th
