If you are a Survivor fan you will love this DVD. Better than what is shown on TV.

MAJOR WARNING FOR ALL PURCHASERS!!! One major problem with this DVD. On the back of the box it reveals who the winner is, on the back of each disc it reveals everything that happens in the episode, who won the challenges, and then in big letters who was voted out.. (fortunately i noticed "interview with new millionaire" and shut my eyes, i then noticed on episode one who was voted out and immediately turned all of the covers inside out so only one episode was ruined) IF YOU DO BUY THIS DVD GET SOMEONE ELSE TO OPEN IT AND TURN ALL THE COVERS INSIDE OUT FOR YOU IF YOU DONT WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS... That aside, having watched seasons 2 to 7 and the most recent season its great to see where it all began, and especially watching characters who have never seen survivor having to compete in the dark so to speak. Some amusing moments for survivor fans, constant captions reminding us who Jeff is, watching people come to terms with the new idea of alliances, and some familiar tasks. Only 5 episodes in, but classic survivor and the classic season that spawned the worldwide success. A must for reality tv fans

the original survivor show provides hours of entertainment

this would be for the ultimate survivor fan that took the journey 9 years ago with mark burnett, jeff probst and the first set of 16 people to be stranded on an island as the original survivors. The series became popular after this original season which aired in 2000. This is the original season of survivor where 16 people were stranded on an island in borneo for 39 days with little food, shelter, and belongins. the castaways were split into 2 tribes and Each week there would be a challenge. whichever tribe lost the challenge had to vote one of their own off the island until there were only 2 left and a jury decided who they thought was most deserving of the prize survivor.

This is not only the first season of the best reality show ever, but it could quite possibly be the first season of the best show ever. This is a very nice box set to own if you are a fan of SURVIVOR, not only do you get to see some extra stuff that was never aired on TV, but you also get to hear Jeff and some of the castaways talk about some of the episodes. I strongly recommend this to any SURVIVOR fan and to anyone who has never seen the show. It is great to watch and see how it all started. This is definately the show that started a revolution in the television industry. Thanks and enjoy.

I actually purchased this in error--thought it was the 1st season of Survivor. Guess I need to do a little more research before bidding!! This is a very good DVD. I am so glad I bought it. I love the "behind the scenes" interviews. I also love watching the "uncensored" scenes. Highly recommend if you are into reality TV. I can't get enough!!

I am hooked on this show! This Dvd is good ~ Shows some highlights of the 1st season but it does not get into the whole show ~ It is good to watch to see what survivor started off like and to see how much the show has changed since it started, If your not a fan yet its well worth watching you will get hooked! Its a exciting show!

This was a fun purchase for Christmas. Loved seeing how our addition started and how the show has progressed.

Very good DVD for watching just the outrageous moments of Survivor. This DVD shows the events that interest viewers the most. This DVD is not the whole season. If you like to see just the most interesting segments this is a great DVD for you.
