It was the game that got me more interested in fighting games, like no other at that good old arcade I played at. Not Street Fighter II ST, not Double Dragon Neo Geo, surely not KoF '94 nor Power Instinct 2.

Without ABK, Xbox would be closer to like 1-1.5% of Microsoft's valuation. Microsoft is almost ridiculously big and Xbox is just one tiny piece now.

Feb 24, 2019 · KOF 97 is easily the best (for me) for many reasons. The whole tournament feels global, and the story is interesting enough to gauge your interest. The characters are at their best, the artwork is amazing, and the music is too notch. The gameplay is untouchable. KOF 97 Global Match is a great port with online play.

Nov 4, 2019 · Retro did an amazing job modernizing DKC. I'm kind of sad that people gloss over this game in recent years in favor of Tropical Freeze. Don't get me wrong Tropical Freeze is fantastic and probobaly the best game of 2014, but the pacing,variety and razor sharp focus that the level design in Returns had can't be matched.
