Apr 6, 2023 · Open your Amazon account in a web browser, then open your list (s) page. Create a new list, calling it "Test". Open your "Test" wishlist then go to More > Manage List. Make sure the Manage list with Alexa setting is set to one of the options for "Alexa can add items to your list". Save Changes if you made any.
Is it just me or is it no longer possible to add ideas to wish lists?
Apr 29, 2023 · You used to be able to add simple ideas like "Ikea gift card" or things from non-Amazon websites previously. Ideas were, up until sometime this year, able to be added to wish lists. I first asked family if they'd noticed a change before searching on reddit and they'd never even heard of that feature.

So if you want prevent getting them duplicate items or get an idea of the type of things they were wanting, you can use this "hack", to see what's been purchased from their wishlist. Add reveal=purchased to the end of the wishlist url, after the ?.

Select whatever e-gift card on amazon you want, imput your email that's attached to your amazon or whatever, leave everything else blank, then add it to your cart. From your cart, click "save for later". once you've done that, in your Saved For Later section, it'll be there with the option to "add to list", then add to whatever wishlist you please.
