The beautiful brick building we now call home was constructed in 1907 as a substation for the Puget Sound Power and Light Company. It provided power for the Interurban Electric Trolley that ran from Seattle to Olympia, as well as providing street lighting and local power to the Puyallup Valley well into the 1950’s.
