The hospital escape describes Venom Snake's flight from Dhekelia SBA Memorial Hospital while it was attacked by XOF in 1984. Venom's escape directly leads into the Phantom Pain Incident.

the problem is the main menu has interactive elements like the photos in the helicopter and the different models for snake or the different dd soldiers. the hospital seems more like a static scene. they have model swapping but that is as far as they have gotten last i heard. it would be cool to be able to scene-swap.

Apr 23, 2018 · Well after the hospital attack, Mantis is being controlled by Volgin who is looking for Venom. They eventually get recruited into XOF. Skullface's hatred for Cipher is stronger than Volgin's hatred for Venom and SkullFace is able to then control both Mantis and Volgin.

Feb 10, 2020 · Even though there is content from trailers that didn't make it into the final version of MGSV, cutting the hospital would've been worse because that was the WHOLE 2012 trailer and the connection between that trailer and MGSV would otherwise have been unclear, save for the title "The Phantom Pain".
