My lowest, most baseline reason for disliking her is ep3, and it being an accident does not matter to me. However, I still find Jinx to be immensely well-written and to a degree, she is sympathetic. People relate to her for their own reasons and I get that.

Nov 21, 2021 · The show handles Jinx’s issues well and doesn’t villainize her because of that illness. I feel like I can understand my sister a lot more than I did before watching the show. I absolutely love everything about Arcane and especially the handle and care on mental health. More shows need to do this.

Jun 3, 2024 · Jinx, on the other hand, got the news that Vi died, possibly at the hand of an enforcer. Jinx turns Vi into something to keep fighting for. Silco tells Jinx to take some time. Jinx feels useless in the eyes of Silco, the person she's attached the most. She blows up some enforcers to steal the gemstone. Jinx wants Silco to accept her.

This method of wrapping up Jinx’s arc is narratively convenient (there is a reason that it is so popular in modern media). It gives Arcane a bittersweet ending that allows the remaining cast to mourn Jinx, laud her for that final heroic act, maybe even forgive her.
