LAS VEGAS -- Anthony Colandrea passed for 203 yards and three touchdowns as UNLV held off a UCLA rally to win 30-23 on Saturday night for the Rebels' first victory over a Big Ten Conference opponent in 22 years. The Rebels (3-0) last beat a Big Ten team when they won 23-5 at No. 14 Wisconsin on Sept. 13, 2003.

Although UCLA managed to make it a one-score game, the multitude of issues that plagued the Bruins in their season opener returned in a 30-23 loss to UNLV.

It was looking like an all-too-familiar scene coming out of the break until Nico Iamaleava and the UCLA offense came out of the break scorching. The Bruins were able to cut it to a seven-point game until an Iamaleava pass in UNLV's territory was tipped up and intercepted with 52 seconds remaining in the game.
