A man accused of shooting two National Guard troops near the White House has been charged in a complaint with federal firearms charges in connection with the ambush on November 26 that fatally wounded one of the West Virginia National Guard members and seriously injured the second.

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — A grand jury has declined to indict the father of two Kentucky State University students who was charged with murder in an on-campus shooting that killed one student and critically injured another.

A woman was killed, and four men were injured in a mass shooting in East Baltimore on Monday night, according to police. An officer was in the area of Belair Road and Mayfield Avenue around 10:50 p.m. when he heard gunshots. He responded to the scene to find two men, ages 20 and 24, suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, police said.

Authorities were searching for a suspect described as "a male dressed in black" who fled after the Saturday afternoon shooting, and now have a person of interest in custody.

Trumbull Mall shooting reports: Reports of an active shooter at the Trumbull Mall in Connecticut emerged on Friday. The police are yet to issue a statement. The mall has not addressed the incident. One person on Facebook wrote: "I am told there’s an active shooting at Trumbull mall. Be safe everyone!"
