The New Orleans attacker visited the city twice in the months prior to New Year’s, and used Meta smart glasses to film Bourbon Street and plan out his attack, FBI New Orleans Special Agent in Charge Lyonel Myrthil said Sunday.

The New Orleans terrorist attacker visited the Louisiana city twice in the weeks before the attack and recorded video of the area using Meta smart glasses, the FBI revealed Sunday.

The suspect in the New Orleans attack on New Year’s Day recorded video of the French Quarter wearing camera-equipped glasses designed by Meta in separate visits in October and November, the FBI revealed Sunday.
