A 14-year-old boy was charged with criminal homicide after another boy was fatally shot during an attempted robbery Friday night, Nashville police said. Brenden Grady, 14, died after being shot in the 150 block of North 6th Street on Friday night,

Some of those who were being treated at area hospitals were suspected to have been involved in the shooting, police said.

A 16-year-old went to Nashville Police headquarters and told officers he shot at the victim during a drug transation, police said.
