The Timberwolves want to chase Kevin Durant to pair him with Anthony Edwards on the squad, but the two-time Finals MVP is not a fan of moving to Minnesota.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are one of the top contenders in trade talks for Kevin Durant from the Phoenix Suns.

Shams Charania of ESPN reported on Monday that Kevin Durant has “no desire” to be traded to the Timberwolves, but the Suns and Wolves are still hoping he’ll warm to the idea, league sources tell Sam Amick and Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic.

Gobert, a four-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year, spent nine seasons with the Utah Jazz before coming to Minnesota. He appeared in 72 games in the past season, averaging 12 points, 10.9 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.4 blocks per game.
