The NCAA announced that it will appeal the temporary injunction in the lawsuit case of Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia.

The NCAA Division I Board of Directors approved a blanket waiver granting an extra year of eligibility to former junior college transfers in similar positions to Vanderbilt's Diego Pavia, while also announcing it is appealing the ruling in Pavia's case.

Pavia's suit argued that counting junior college toward an athlete’s eligibility clock was an unlawful restraint on his NIL earning power.
