Punjab's NRI Affairs Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal and Power Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO met illegal Indian immigrants who were deported from the US to Amritsar.The aircraft carrying the second batch of Indian nationals who illegally migrated to the US landed at the Amritsar Airport on Sunday.

PM Modi on illegal immigrants said most of the people staying illegally are from ordinary families and are misguided by human traffickers.

A planeload of illegal immigrantswas deported to India. They were brought by a military aircraft, perhaps as a symbolic show of power. Part of the Indian media has sharply reacted. The government is mute as it has agreed to take back the illegals.
