The volley from the Iran-backed Lebanese group Hezbollah came as health officials in Gaza said Israeli strikes had killed more than 30 people.

Since the 7 October attack, Israel and Hezbollah have exchanged rocket fire, and Tel Aviv deployed ground troops across the Lebanese border last month. The drone incident follows an Israeli military airstrike that reportedly destroyed Hezbollah's regional command centre.
