Chase DeLauter Will Debut in Centerfield Today
The Guardians just announced their lineup and Chase DeLauter will start in centerfield and bat seventh for his major league debut in game two against the Tigers in the Wildcard.
The Cleveland Guardians are turning to Chase DeLauter to make his Major League debut in an elimination game against the Detroit Tigers.
Chase DeLauter was slated to head to next week’s Opening Day in the Arizona Fall League. As it turns out, he has another destination in mind first. The Guardians added MLB Pipeline’s No. 54 overall prospect to their Wild Card Series roster Tuesday for their best-of-3 matchup with the Tigers.
