A juvenile remains hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after becoming the third person shot in October on the same east Charlotte street block, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police. The identity of the youth has not been released.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg detectives are investigating a shooting involving a juvenile. The shooting happened around 5 p.m. Saturday in the 8000 block of Trousdale Drive in east Charlotte. MEDIC said the minor was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

One person is dead and another person has been hospitalized after a double-shooting in east Charlotte, according to Medic. The shooting occurred in the 3700 block of N. Davidson Street around 8:40 p.m.

A person was hospitalized following a shooting in west Charlotte Saturday evening. Medic says they responded to a report of a victim suffering from a gunshot wound near the 1500 block of Ashley Road in Charlotte.
