Gregory Bovino, the top Border Patrol official leading the charge on the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown in cities, and his officers are heading to Charlotte, according to a source familiar with the planning.
The Trump administration plans to further expand the presence of immigration agents in American cities, deploying the U.S. Border Patrol to Charlotte, N.C., and New Orleans, according to a government document and a federal official with knowledge of the plan.
CBS News and CNN have reported that border patrol could be making their way to the Queen City for an operation this month.
