Bushra Bibi, the wife of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, was released from prison on Thursday, a day after she was granted bail in a case linked to the illegal sale of state gifts, ending about nine months of imprisonment.

Karachi (Dunya News) - Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah said on Saturday that he didn’t consider release of former first lady Bushra Bibi and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Founder Imran Khan’s sisters Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan as part of any deal.

Bushra Bibi has been released in the Toshakhana 2.0 case. Additional security forces have been deployed at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, with Bushra Bibi's release. The jail administration plans to complete legal formalities after receiving the release order.
