Auburn football looks to avoid a fifth straight loss lining up against the Kentucky Wildcats at Kroger Field Saturday night. The Tigers (2-5 overall, 0-4 SEC), leads the all-time series against Kentucky. However, The Wildcats (3-4 overall, 1-4 SEC), enter tonight’s matchup as the early favorites.

Auburn football snapped a four-game losing streak Saturday night in dominant fashion. The Tigers swarmed the Kentucky Wildcats in nearly every aspect of the game on their way to a 24-10 win, a much-needed victory after a winless start to SEC play. Auburn returns home next Saturday against Vanderbilt.

Auburn leads the all-time series, 27-6-1, but the Tigers last fell to the Wildcats on October 17, 2009, via a score of 21-14. That was Gene Chizek’s first year as Auburn’s head coach. The Tigers lost their first game of the season at Arkansas the week before after starting their campaign 5-0.
