A 27-year-old man s uspected in an attempted murder case was shot and wounded by Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office deputies during a confrontation Aug. 20 in Lake Worth Beach, the sheriff's office reported.

A Schenectady man is charged with attempted murder in connection with a shooting. Ryan Perry, 29, was arrested on Friday morning. He is also charged with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal use of a firearm and reckless endangerment.

A man in Birmingham, England was found guilty of the attempted murder of his wife after 'pouring hot oil' on her and physically attacking her. Raju Mollah pled not guilty to attempted murder but will now face jail time when sentenced in court later this year.

Police said a 50-year-old man drove himself to the Kihei Medic Quarters and reported that he had been shot.

A suspect in a La Junta attempted murder case was arrested after barricading himself in a home on the east side of Colorado Springs on Thursday, Aug. 21. According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD),

"This was very brutal — the facts of this case are very brutal, horrific," RPD Chief David Ewing said. "I mean it shocked us to our core."
