A powerful atmospheric river storm pushing into the Pacific Northwest has cities like Seattle and Portland, Oregon, bracing for flooding as heavy rain and strong winds blast the region.
There could be as much as 2 to 2.5 inches of rain along the Willamette Valley from Saturday night to the end of Monday.
"A Pacific storm and atmospheric river will impact the Pacific Northwest states and northern Rockies this weekend," the NWS said.
