Apple is preparing to launch a new home camera and doorbell in the years ahead, and one common feature helps explain why they’re coming now.
As reported by Bloomberg, the Apple video doorbell could work by scanning a person’s face as they approach the door and then connect wirelessly to a lock or deadbolt to automatically unlock the door.
