Three-star quarterback Tommy Carr has committed to Michigan football for the 2026 class. Carr is the grandson of former Michigan head coach Lloyd Carr and the younger brother of Notre Dame quarterback C.J. Carr. He had previously been committed to Miami (Ohio) before flipping to the Wolverines.
No. 18 Michigan had a hiatus from the College Football Playoff last season, but the Wolverines have made three of the last four -- including a 2023 national championship. Heading into the home stretch of the season, the program still has an outside shot to reach the postseason again.
