The Boston Red Sox agreed to a three-year, $120 million contract with longtime Houston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman.

After news broke that former Houston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman had agreed to a contract with the Boston Red Sox late Wednesday night, players showed up to the Red Sox’s Fort Myers, Florida spring training facility Thursday morning energized about the addition of the team.

Alex Bregman arrived at Red Sox camp Friday afternoon and was immediately greeted by manager Alex Cora and chief baseball officer Craig Breslow. Bregman then posted a farewell message to Houston on Instagram Friday evening.
