Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams confirmed Wednesday that someone posing as Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson tried to trick him

The Bears quarterback appeared to be pranked on Friday by a group of kids who managed to acquire his phone number. They texted Williams while pretending to be Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson — one of the hottest head coach candidates this cycle.

But it wasn’t Johnson who was calling the Bears QB. Nope! Somehow, some dudes got his number and called him up. He answered the FaceTime call and the prankster said he was “so glad that you’re going to get a new head coach” and then apologized.
