President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin held a high-stakes summit in Alaska, but the talks did not yield a ceasefire in Ukraine.

The summit will also give Putin the chance to appeal to Trump’s business interests. Russia’s Finance Minister Anton Siluanov and Kirill Dmitriev, a senior economic negotiator and head of Russia’s sovereign wealth fund, are among those who accompanied Putin to Alaska.

Air Force One departed Washington just after 8 a.m. ET for Anchorage, Alaska, where Trump will meet Putin at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson at 3:30 p.m. ET, followed by a lunch with delegations from both countries then a joint press conference with Trump and Putin, according to the White House.
