A day after bringing former Notre Dame director of player personnel, Zaire Turner, to USC, Bowden is also hiring away Illinois' director of player personnel, Dre Brown, according to multiple sources.

USC is expected to announce the hiring of former Illinois running back Dre Brown. Brown, who finished his first season as the Fighting Illini’s Director of Player Personnel in 2024.

Bowden made it clear once again that recruiting local prospects will be a priority for the USC personnel staff.
