Alex Pereira looks like he may be contemplating a run at third UFC title based on the recent weigh-in he shared with fans.

Pereira (12-3 MMA, 9-2 UFC) defended his light heavyweight title three times until he ran into Ankalaev (21-1-1 MMA, 12-1-1 UFC), who dethroned him at UFC 313 in March. Abdelaziz thinks opponents Jamahal Hill, Jiri Prochazka, and Khalil Rountree were tailor-made for Pereira.

Gaethje (26-5 MMA, 9-5 UFC) did the UFC a solid by defending his BMF title against Max Holloway on their historic 300th pay-per-view event. He wound up getting knocked out by Holloway at UFC 300, but rebounded with a win over Rafael Fiziev at UFC 313.

There’s still no clear timetable on when Alex Pereira will return to the UFC, but the former champion is certainly training like he has a fight booked.
