All of Ireland has been hit with wind weather warnings as the newly-named Storm Ashley is set to batter the country this weekend.

Storm Ashley was named by Met Éireann as it will initially bring impacts to the Republic of Ireland. The deep area of low pressure is expected to track north eastwards, reaching Northern Ireland early on Sunday morning, bringing strong winds and rrain.

As Storm Ashley approaches the UK the Met office map shows exactly when and where it will arrive. Weather warnings are in place for parts of the country and forecasters expect damage in some areas
