The city of Birmingham has begun work on drainage improvements along 26th Street South and Caldwell Park in the Highland Park neighborhood.

We remain mostly dry during the morning hours, but we are expecting another round of scattered showers and thunderstorms to develop this afternoon and continue into the evening hours.
