H ouston attorney Tony Buzbee has sued the NFL in New York Supreme Court, claiming the league conspired to remove Cary McNair from the Texans' family ownership group.

Buzbee's memo alleged the NFL removed Cary from the Texans and other McNair family interests in part because, amid the sexual assault scandal of former Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson, McNair was "repeatedly silenced," regarding his concerns over the Texans' culpability.

The Texans have remained relatively quiet on Mixon's injury news since the developments initially surfaced of his absence coming to light to start the season. While Ryans doesn't have a clear timetable for his veteran back's return, we now know that it likely won't be coming in the near future.
