As of Dec. 29, the St. Cloud area saw between 3.6 inches to 6 inches of snow, according to the National Weather Service. Six inches was recorded in Luxemburg, which is south of St. Augusta, and 3.6 inches was reported in part of Rice, which is north of Sartell.
Minnesota will see a couple of rounds of light snow midweek before temperatures turn colder in time for the new year.

MN weather: Early snow totals from Sunday’s storm
We’re starting to get early snowfall reports from Sunday’s winter storm. So far the winner is just west of the Twin Cities metro.
A winter storm watch has been issued in the Twin Cities, where heavy snow is expected to fall across much of Sunday, while strong winds could bring blizzard conditions to central parts of Minnesota.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation lifted the no travel advisory at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 29, from state highways and Interstate 90 in South Central Minnesota. Area highways were under a no travel advisory due to blowing snow and low visibility.

Minnesota weather: What to expect for Sunday's snow
The Twin Cities could see 2–4 inches of snow, while southeastern Minnesota could see 4–6 or more inches. Monday is expected to be very cold with a high of 13 degrees.
Gusty winds, blowing snow, and icy road conditions continue to make for hazardous travel conditions across the Twin Cities and much of southern Minnesota, even as a powerhouse storm that dropped several inches of snow Dec. 28 begins winding down.
Minnesota cities, including Bloomington and New Hope, are enacting snow emergencies due to a severe storm, impacting travel and prompting parking restrictions.
