A yellow rain warning is in place across Devon and Cornwall due to Storm Ashley. The Met Office warning, currently in place until midday, includes strong winds and heavy rain, with Dartmoor forecast to be among the worst affected areas

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for rain in Devon and Cornwall, as Storm Ashley is expected to batter the county with heavy rainfall in the early hours of Sunday morning (October 20). The weather warning is in effect from 3am until midday on Sunday and covers large areas of the south-west, including Devon, Cornwall and Somerset.
