The beloved menu item is set to return to menus nationwide at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. The snack wraps, spicy and ranch, are expected to remain on menus permanently. “Fans never gave up on the Snack Wrap, which is inspiring the ultimate comeback,” McDonald’s said in a news release.

For the "I'm loving it" fans, McDonald’s is rolling out the Snack Wrap again in two fresh flavors: Spicy and Ranch. The spicy version comes with a habanero kick: a nod to the popular Spicy McCrispy Chicken Sandwich. The ranch version keeps it cool and familiar, for those who like their chicken with less heat.

The menu change marks the 50th anniversary of the Egg McMuffin's nationwide rollout. Herb Peterson, a former McDonald's franchisee in Santa Barbara, California, created the sandwich in 1971 with the aim to produce a portable version of eggs benedict.

After nearly a decade, McDonald's announced the return of the Snack Wrap, one of McDonald's new McCrispy Strips topped with shredded lettuce and shredded cheese, wrapped in a soft flour tortilla. They're available in either Spicy (with a habanero kick) or Ranch (with Ranch dressing and hints of garlic and onion).

The Daily Double, available now nationwide, is made with two beef patties, a slice of American cheese plus shredded lettuce, slivered onions, mayo and two tomato slices. The burger had been available in limited markets including Chicago, Miami and Seattle, but will be available nationally through 2025, the company said.
