A driver who authorities say exploded a Tesla Cybertruck outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas last week used artificial intelligence to plan the blast, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

Master Sgt. Matthew Livelsberger, a highly decorated Special Forces soldier with Ohio ties, had three recent visits for mental health treatment.

Livelsberger used ChatGPT for instructions on how to calculate the amount of explosions needed for the blast and how he could buy a phone without providing his personal information, McMahill said
