Emmitt Smith has always taken exception to how the media has chronicled his infamous contract dispute with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones back in 1993. Though dissimilar in dollars and eras, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones will ultimately pay Micah Parsons in 2025 because he failed to do with Emmitt Smith in 1993.
