The Jaguars gave up a fourth-rounder and a sixth-rounder to get Meyers, a 1,000-yard receiver last season. They view him as a guy they think they can convince to stick around; if not, they wouldn't have overpaid with that fourth-round pick. Which means that the new top wideout replacing Meyers is Tre Tucker, who has shown some flashes of talent with three games of 60 yards or more (including that eight-catch, 145-yard performance against the Commanders in which he caught three TDs).

Jakobi Meyers spent three hours talking trash to Jacksonville defenders last Sunday. He probably would have held his tongue had he known he was going to see them face-to-face three days later.
