DETROIT (FOX 2) - As Election Day comes to an end on Tuesday, Nov. 5, results will start to come in throughout the entire state. While Michigan may not have a massive race like the city of New York, we do have our largest city picking a new mayor for the first time since 2014.
Winfrey says the numbers mirror previous elections, and she anticipates 18 to 20% voter turnout for Tuesday's election. On Monday, Winfrey said that in addition to the 4,000 people who voted early, the city has received around 50,000 absentee ballots so far.
