Wayne Rooney was left speechless after the pressure was piled on as Plymouth were thrashed 5-0 by Cardiff. The Plymouth manager had to watch his side’s capitulation from the stands as he served a one-match touchline ban after being sent off for misconduct in their previous match against Blackburn.

Rooney's side suffered a thrashing at the hands of Cardiff on their return to action after the international break. The Welsh side had only enjoyed one win so far this season in the Championship heading into the game but took home all three points with a handsome victory at the Cardiff City Stadium.
