Former Husker Brice Matthews is set to become the 42nd Nebraska baseball player to reach the Major Leagues after his contract was selected by the Houston Astros on Friday morning.

Houston’s top prospect infielder Brice Matthews has been called up from Triple-A Sugar Land to join the Astros for the start of their series against the Texas Rangers Friday night.
