Imelda will strike Bermuda with high winds, surge flooding and heavy rain as high surf and rip currents continue along the East Coast. Here's the latest forecast.
At 8 a.m. Thursday, the National Hurricane Center issued an advisory stating that Category 1 Hurricane Imelda is in the Atlantic Ocean, 80 miles east-northeast of Bermuda. The hurricane is moving east-northeast at 30 mph, with maximum sustained winds of 90 mph.
Hurricane Imelda approaches Bermuda with 100 mph winds. Hurricane warning issued as dangerous conditions expected tonight with flooding risks.
Tropical Storm Imelda's track is coming more into focus with the storm now likely to be tugged out to sea. However, the Southeast coast will still see impacts, such as heavy rain, coastal flooding and dangerous surf.
