A system in the Atlantic has strengthened to become a new named tropical storm Nadine, which was upgraded early Saturday morning, Oct. 19, will follow a westward track in the Caribbean into Belize and the Yucatan Peninsula during the day.

We could be seeing the first signs of the next named storm, Nadine, as the National Hurricane Center tracks two tropical disturbances in the Atlantic and Caribbean. AccuWeather is also tracking the two disturbances and says that one of the features could find a way to impact Florida.

Invest 94L currently has a medium chance for development over the next seven days. Current conditions call for it to stay away from Florida.
