The Amherst Survival Center has teamed up with UMass Amherst to open an on-campus food pantry for the university community.

To follow up on Wednesday’s incident at UMass Lowell, where a juvenile was spotted carrying a BB gun on campus.

In the midst of other needs or issues, UMass Amherst is taking on the challenge to address a hunger crisis, so no student or staff member is forced to choose between opportunity and food.
