By Will Ripley, Lex Harvey, Chris Lau, Kunal Sehgal and Lucas Lilieholm, CNN (CNN) — Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met North Korean leader Kim Jong Un Saturday in a sign of deepening relations between Moscow and Pyongyang as the latter gets pulled deeper into Russia’s war in Ukraine.

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on Saturday received Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Wonsan. Earlier, Lavrov held talks with his North Korean counterpart as part of the second round of the bilateral foreign ministerial strategic dialogue.
