Major League Baseball World Champions shared Tuesday that they've created the Rangers Sports Network (RSN) will produce and distribute the Texas Rangers’ games and other select content. The nation's largest owner of broadcast TV stations will air at least a dozen of those games on free-to-air TV across the team's territory.

Against a rapidly changing current in the TV revenue stream, Texas Rangers ownership set out a year ago to navigate the narrowest of channels, one that allowed them to widen their audience, without substantially emptying their pockets.
